The u-shaped nose set is designed for blade-shaped terminals and the notched jaw set is for gripping screw heads, bare wire or terminals. The leads with serrated teeth are for gripping threaded or wire-wrapped terminals and the leads with a cluster of sharp needles are for piercing small gauge (no. 22 and 28 AWG) wires. The set with a large piercing needle is for penetrating larger gauge wires. The 60-Inch (1.5m), silicone-insulated leads are useable from -112 to 302 Degree Fahrenheit (-80 to 150 Degree Celsius).
